TLDR: Read this series but don't start here.
This was a very wholesome story. At every turn there was another opportunity for ruin and in most romances that's the path our characters would have taken and we're sitting on the other side of the pages screaming at them "why don't you just talk to each other". And while there's a little bit of that, for the most part everything is done above board and the way it should be. And isn't that just a breath of fresh air. Although I will say it led to a much shorter book and a very quick read. But this is a delightful palette cleanser of a book. And I don't say that negatively. I love mint and spearmint and all things minty. And that's what I would equate this book to, it's safe and it's lovely and there's no third act break up. That is such a rarity! Also it's got "gentleman in the streets, freaking the sheets" which you've got to love. If you read my TLDR you've probably continued on because you've read the previous books in this series and I want to confirm that you'll enjoy this one too.
