I absolutely adored the first book and this one brings in many of the same elements. The dark humor (I’m a big fan) was on point!
I just really feel like what was done to Larks dog was unnecessary and didn’t really add anything to the plot. I am the kind of person who won’t read a book or watch a movie if an animal gets hurt or dies, so when I read the trigger warnings page I’m sure you can imagine my fear.
Overall, it was a great and enjoyable read. It was funny, sexy, thrilling!

I wish people cared enough about the things my silly goose brain thinks that I could sell a book that lists out things I don't like.

One of my favorite books of all time! I'm obsessed with the characters and the world building! Give me a morally grey female protagonist and I'm hooked!

**spoiler alert** These stones are giving me flashbacks to Avengers Infinity War and Endgame and my heart simply cannot handle it. This is what should have happened to my dear Natasha

**spoiler alert** Read this in an adaptation class. I didn't know much about what it was going in, but I enjoyed it. Except for one major part... I swear if y'all think it's funny to hurt animals in movies and books, STOP JUST STOP!

**spoiler alert** I love Natasha Romanoff with my whole heart, so clearly this book was a no brainer for me. I feel like they strayed pretty far away from Natashas roots and background. Just my opinion… I did enjoy it. I was almost in tears at the end.
