I love this book, it doesn't even feel like non fiction or a memoir!
It's like a feverish dream......
I can feel BTS's passion and determination and desperation through the words and i just....wow

I love how they address every single controversy and make us see their point of view so beautifully!
The writer did a great job organising every single detail!, Like The rap den bobby's diss, the dumpling incident the UN speech, The Love yourself tour, etc.
I loved to read about their day to day life.

But honestly it was so sad
to see how they struggled while everyone thought they must be dancing on a pile of trophies.
I kinda feel happy sad
Happy because they got through it and sad because they HAD TO get through it :)

“Sometimes she could see the monster inside him. And sometimes he made her see the monster inside herself.”

NO SUGARCOATING, PURE EVIL AND I'M HERE FOR IT!!!!!

Wow ok i am over the moon about this book so lemme start my rant

Nita I love her, morally grey and with a sprinkle of pure evil. She knows what she wants and needs, but it's not necessarily a- a- very convenient thing.

This book explores the messy themes of Karma, moral dilemma, trust and empathy.
Nina know what she does is wrong but, in the end, they are just nameless people on a dissection table, harmful to the society, right? Until she ends up in a market of monsters herself and realises that these nameless people are very much real.

“He’s been found evil. And if you tell someone they’re bad long enough, they’ll believe it. Especially children.”
Now come my boy KOVIT. Pure evil. But not by choice. Now i always thought u had a choice to be or to not be evil, but after reading this book, I'm not sure, I'm not at all sure. Kovit inflicts pain, but to survive.
Kovit raises some questions, do we really have a choice?
What is the line between evil needs and evil desires?
Does all evil really have a reason, and if so does it even matter?
What is evil?

And the plot!
The hunters become the hunted, it has the "You and me against the world theme" executed perfectly
Thought there are a lot of books that explore this theme, none so evil and chaotic as this one.

I am not a pro review writer but ill say Both the plot and the characters intrigued me, and I'm a plot driven reader

4.5/5 (-0.5 bcz it made me feel helpless)
rather than the "is the happiness of thousands worth the suffering of one child?"

think about "why did they walk away? Are the ones who walk away doing the right thing?"

If they rescue a child, they do a good deed, sure but what about the masses whose happiness will be taken away if this child experiences an ounce of happiness.

They can do nothing but walk away.

"Doesn’t it bother you? That your husbands have become such a headline story, so often mentioned, that they have nearly eclipsed your work and yourself? That all anyone talks about when they talk about you are the seven husbands
of Evelyn Hugo?”

"No. Because they are just husbands. I am Evelyn Hugo"
