This was a very quick an enjoyable read! I did NOT expect the images, which made it even more fun!

Queer characters, trans MC and a spicy with vampires. There is nothing more I needed for an escape from Realism πŸ˜‚

This was a quick but amazing read. After the last couple of days with bad luck and terrible news, I needed something quick, fun and cute!

This story was all three of that and I could not have picked out a better pick me up than this book. It has a lot of LGBTQIA representation with a non-binary character and a trans man character. There was diversity, there was magic, there was chemistry, and there was horror!

I really loved this story and the character development of both characters. Both Bishop and Colin were amazing and I was rooting for them from start to finish!

Worth every star in my opinion!

I am a huge lover of dinosaurs and when I heard about this book, I immediately bought it. However, it would still take me months to get to it, and FINALLY it happened. I read the book!

First things first, this book was not exactly what I expected, but it was still absolutely amazing. People that know me, know I don't like thrillers and "murder needs to be solved" or "who done it" kind of stuff. But Luke managed to tie everything in perfectly with a skeleton of a dinosaur and the disappearance of a child.

I loved the story, how everything fit perfectly together and how it turned out in the end. Every character was also very well thought out and every character in the story was needed to make everything work in the end.

The MC was also very likable and you can't help rooting for Simon and his detective skills. I also think Simon's actions throughout the story all make sense and nothing he did was totally far fetched or straight up impossible.

All in all, I expected a story with dinosaurs coming to live and ransacking the museum and eating people or whatever, but it was so much better than that!

There were however 2 small issues I had while reading the book. 1) For me, it started getting interesting pretty late in the book and 2) the font of my edition was small and close together which made it harder for me to read sometimes. But those things became less of an issue progressing in the book further!

Grady Hendrix is one of my favourite horror authors and this book is a prime example of why I love his books so much.

My best friend's exorcisme is atmospheric, very well written and keeps you guessing on what the hell is actually happening? I am pretty good at figuring stuff out and even though some things I figured out, others left me utterly shocked!

The friendship between Abby and Gretchen was also fenomenale! In my eyes very believable and exactly how friends were at those times. I really liked the timeline this took place in too.

The ending was also perfect for the story!

All in all a very enjoyable read! 5 stars!

This was a very interesting read. It's a short read, packed with powerful events, moments and sayings, that had me shaking my head at one point, ping away a tear at another and sheer at yet another moment. This allegory is so powerful and brilliant and I advise everyone to give this one a try!

I stayed up until 3am to finish this book, because I really wanted to know what was going to happen, because I had an inkling and I am happy to find out I was right about the ending!

It was a very entertaining and quick read with admirable characters and great descriptions of the surroundings and what is happening!

The characters were also very believable and each and every one of them had a role in the story which made them important.

All in all, a great pick for zombie month! 😁

This book is without a doubt the best horror book I read this year. I can also confidently say it has swiftly become one of my favourite books of all time. This masterpiece is everything I want in a book.

It is survival, it is supernatural, it has AMAZING atmosphere, the setting was stunning and creepy at the same time, it was terrifying and throughout the story you have no idea what THE FUCK is happening. And when you think the worst is over, BAM a whole other story enters the ring! All of a sudden, it has cult vibes, unstable metalheads, creature features and all that good stuff!

Man, talking about a roller coaster of emotions you're going through while reading this book! You can't help but root for the MC and beg that he makes it, whatever his plans are.

It is also amazing how well Adam's writing is and how well he can relay feelings, thoughts, emotions in his writing. All decisions made by everyone made sense. The group dynamics made sense. And yes, also character development is a big part here.

Just... This book is a gem, and I will always, always recommend this one! I would even give it more than 5 stars if I could!

Wow, this novelette was AMAZING! I really love Brittany Johnson's writing style and the stories she comes up with!

This story in particular grabbed me from the first pages until the very end and I loved the MC's too! I love for Betty was very shy and reluctant and careful first, but then throws it all out the window and becomes the predator she is meant to be. Richard on the other hand was very self-assured and confident and becomes the one that follows Betty in the end for guidance.

Maneater is definitely the best title this story could have gotten!

All in all, a well deserved 5 stars!

I really like this manga! Seiji is so sweet and cute and Shin is kind of the broody husk of a man. They are so sweet together! Very nice Manga!
