Not Puck blackmailing Guts😂 I love their banter so much and how Guts is starting to engage with Puck more and more!

I kinda want Farnese to be Gut’s friend, I kinda like her. 
Also, I wonder why she couldn’t see Puck!. Does that mean she can’t see gods or demons as well? It’s interesting.

Wow, so much character growth on Farnese’s part, and in a such a short time! The way her storyline is going is giving me hope that she’ll be a permanent character; I’d love that honestly!
Also, now it makes sense why she couldn’t see Puck.

The end of 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐜: 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫
I don’t understand Farnese’s character completely but it’s interesting that what she’s feeling was already there even before she experienced what she experienced with Guts. What she has gone through in this short arc didn’t change her out of nowhere; it just unlocked something in her.  

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟒𝟏 - 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝟏)

This one was full of symbolisms and foreshadowings. If Death is the plague then what is the white hawk? And why a hawk exactly? It makes me think that it refers to the hawk band.

There was a panel in a previous chapter that showed a white bird being sacrificed for a behelit, and now this chapter showed the 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 of this hawk; so my theory for now is that the white hawk refers to Casca’s and Guts’s son.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟒𝟐 - 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝟐)

In the king’s hallucinations, Griffith is shown as the white hawk … and I’m confused; it really made sense to me that it would refer to Casca’s and Guts’s son :)
How is Griffith is gonna save the kingdom? Or people just assumed that the white hawk is their saviour?

It seems that in berserk’s world the lines are always blurred when it comes to things like this; just like how gods and demons are the same things in this world.


𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟒𝟑 - 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝟑)

“When the sky falls down, in the holy place of shepherds it will appear” 
This whole scene with Zodd and the white hawk was interesting. Gut’s son said the same thing the bird said, I’m officially confused :|


𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟒𝟒 - 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞

Godu gotta be one of my favourite side characters, I’ll always love a well written wise old man. I agree with every word Godu said to Guts, but I can also see why Guts left Casca two years ago; I think he wanted to protect her from himself mostly.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟒𝟓 - 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐞

Rickert is growing on me. I can’t believe he’s still alive somehow; at first glance he looks like the type of character that gets killed off immediately after going through the smallest danger.

Guts’s monologue was so good and I almost cried because I was overwhelmed with emotions over Guts’s life. I think once I finish this manga I’ll reread this volume; it’s full of important symbolisms that I can’t comprehend completely for now; Guts still feels vague to me.

So there’s two hawks :) 
 there’s the hawk of light which is Griffith, and the hawk of darkness which is Guts.

Didn’t imagine I’d read a Sam Mariano book ever again after I gave “Stitches” 1 star, but I’m glad I did give this author another chance; this one is a masterpiece. Just needed a good time and this novella definitely served and even gave me more than what I wanted. 
I never got attached to characters so quickly before as in this one. Even the ones that I didn’t like at first grew on me quickly. Especially James and Penny.
I really like Jessa, and honestly wished her all the happiness in the world, also I loved her bond with Julia!
Marcus Jr. is questionable but I couldn’t help but fall in love with him too (obviously what he did would never slide in real life) he feels like a better version of Sebastian from “Stitches”
Also, I didn’t realize that I loved reading praise kink until I came across this :)

I’m not sure why this book took me 47 days to read but trust me I was never bored. On the contrary, I got attached to these characters, I fucking loved this book T-T

I didn’t know that I needed a love story between two grumps. Those two are so funny together, I loved their banter so much!

Watching (or reading really) Nora falling in love deeper and deeper everytime is the cutest thing ever, it’s always entertaining when grumps fall in love and become softies to each other.
And god, the third act break up was so heart-shattering; I honestly wanted a more satisfying and longer reunion scene T-T

(Btw, in another universe I’d totally swoon over Shepherd.)

I hope we see Jill again T-T
I really liked Guts in this specific chapter.

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐜: 𝐋𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 wrapped up beautifully. I really didn’t like it in my first read but now my opinion changed 180 degrees.  I think in my first read I was still affected by the ending of golden age arc; and 𝐋𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 following up that legendary arc immediately made it seem weak in comparison. I’m glad I had the chance to read it again; it is such a good mini story, especially Rosine’s backstory and how it kinda mirrors Peekaf’s fairytale.

Btw this is the chapter that I last read  back in 2020, so thrilled that I finally caught up to where I left the manga. I’m so excited to see what’s next.

I loved seeing glimpses of Guts just being a little softie since Jill got introduced in the story,  he acts like a monster most of the time but he’s not completely deprived of his humanity. Considering what he went through, this side of him surprises me but I love it.

And Puck’s “𝘼𝙇𝘽𝘼𝙏𝙍𝙊𝙎𝙎 𝘾𝙃𝙊𝙋” killed me lmfao

It's the end of the Golden Age arc, the greatest arc till now.

Griffith fucked up Guts’s and Casca’s lives forever. I feel bad for that poor baby; he wasn’t even given a chance in life yet, and he’s already ruined. Just because Griffith wanted to “teach Guts a lesson” for something that Guts wasn't really responsible for...

I’m glad we’re back to the present; I missed Puck! He’s the only thing that lights things up a little for me.

The Conviction arc: Lost Children chapter wasn’t really entertaining in my first read; let’s see if I’ll change my mind this time.

The whole monologue of Griffith in the beginning of the chapter gave me goosebumps, this is the closest I have ever got to feeling sadness for Griffith.

Casca and Guts are so darn cute in this chapter, I was just like Judeau and Pippin who were giggling in the background lmao

I can’t believe that fairy appeared this early in the story!  For some reason I don’t remember this.
 Is that monster the same one in the black swordsman arc? “ I mean the count, Theresia’s father”
And what’s the deal with the Skull Knight?
This chapter is very confusing :)

This one was emotional.
When Griffith’s eyes widened when he saw Guts that hurt me a little… 
Probably Griffith blames Guts for what happened to him, which is not fair. It’s sad how everyone Guts ever loved and cherished keeps pointing fingers at him for things he didn’t do.

Miura draws the weirdest erotic scenes ever but I gotta admire the way he draws human form, he makes me want to pick up a pencil and start drawing.
