This little delight is the most perfect depiction of platonic or even queerplatonic love I have seen. I relate to it almost more than I would like to admit. Platonic life or attraction is sometimes hard to define and I find myself just sharing this book instead of undertaking that labour. This is one of the few books that I say is a must-read for all. Loved it <3

This is the most renowned example of satire and rightfully so. Short, zany and worth the read. I only have it rated 3 stars because of my personal bias against the early English style of writing with obscure verbose prose. Purely personal because it was a tad bit painful to read relative to other works I enjoy. But the central argument is perfect and the exposition is funny, sharp and biting - this lays out a formula for satirical writing that all proceeding writing should use as a reference and benchmark.
