THIS BOOK HOLY CANOLI - IT IS A MUST READ!!! When I tell you I still can’t get enough of Bridget & Rhys I mean it. Every single second of their story I was obsessed with them. Though their journey to a HEA was not an easy one (man did Ana really whack us with the emotional angst stick) it was worth every single second. This book was beautiful, sexy, funny & honestly so dang perfect I can’t say enough good things! This age gap, bodyguard, forbidden romance was everything I could’ve wanted & more! Their banter, the sexual tension, the chemistry & don’t even get me started on the actual spice (I mean holy heck I was hot the entire time)! Rhys has a way with words that just makes you melt ;)

We see Rhys & Bridget’s connection right off the bat, even though they both try to fight it. We follow their growing professional & friendly relationship until finally something snaps & forced them to face their attraction for each other. Of course nothing is ever that easy & it’s not simply a professional boundary that keeps them forbidden. The plot twists in this book were INSANE! So many things I didn’t see coming & lots of obstacles that both of these characters had to face. This is not a cute, simple romance by any means but man was it one of the most beautiful & heart wrenching stories ever. I highly highly recommend this book & series as a whole! It’s just so dang good you need it in your life!

Alright, if you want a spicy romance book - this is not it. BUT if you want a romance book filled with funny moments, hilarious banter & that overall feel good vibe? Then this is your book! Josh & Lucy were so much fun to read, I honestly just enjoyed them as characters so much. Of course we feel that natural tension & heat between them but that was pretty much it besides one scene in regards to the spice. Do I wish this book was more spicy spicy? Of course but I still really enjoyed the feel goodness that came from these two’s story! I just loved the banter so much I couldn’t stop myself from laughing! I recommend this for when you need a lighthearted hilarious read that will put a smile on your face.

Also, Josh can give me all the food related nicknames any day of the week

Kal & Elena… where do I even begin. Please read the trigger warnings if you are sensitive about certain things! Their story is not an easy one. It’s full of angst, hard obstacles each character has to overcome, a VERY complicated past & lots of damaged characters. I felt all the emotions with this book. Kal angered me, got me hot & made me cry. When I say he is the darkest man Sav has written to this date, I mean it. He is the definition of an antihero & man did he deliver on that. Where he is darkness & hurt, Elena is lightness & healing. I loved getting to watch Elena grow & become a young woman. She has to overcome a lot when it comes to her family & I just applaud her for it. Yes there are times when I wanted to smack her & just say YOU DESERVE BETTER THEN KAL MOVE ON… but overall their story made me FEEL everything. Sav did such an amazing job of making me connect with the characters that I felt so deeply for them. Everything they went through I went through & dang the emotions are high. This is a beautifully broken story about how your past doesn’t have to define who you are, what your future looks like or what you deserve. The growth alone that these two go through in their relationship is astronomical. If you’re ready for a dark, twisted, super hot dirty talking romance that will give you angst & heartbreak for days before healing your soul… this is for you!
