This was a really good read! While this is technically the third book the series, it's also the start of new character POVs and could be read a standalone. I would definitely recommend reading the previous books though, because it does help give some background and they were just phenomenal as well. I really enjoyed getting to see more of Damon and dive into his life. He was an interesting character to me in the previous books so I very much enjoyed getting to see this side of him. I absolutely can not wait to read the next book in this series!

This was a cute book! It was interesting to see the animals describe what us humans do everyday, and I guess it would be an interesting and different way to teach young children about why we do some of the things we do. The illustrations in this book was also very cute and colorful. I very much enjoyed looking at those! I look forward to reading this book to my daughter when she gets a little older and understands more.

This was a really good book! The circus aspect was very different from what I expected and nothing I've honestly ever read before. It was very easy for me to get immersed in this story. My one complaint is that the timelines changed pretty abruptly, so I kept losing my focus during chapters changes. There is a lot of mystery and untold things that take a while to get to the bottom of, and I'm ready to see what happens in book two for sure! This story does end on a cliffhanger, for anyone who doesn't like that happening.

This was a good little story. I'm not sure how educational it really was, but it was an entertaining story with cute pictures. I loved the illustrations and can't wait to read it to my daughter one day, if she is interested in stuff like this. This author usually doesn't disappoint with her children's books and this was no exception.

This ended up being a really good read! He beginning was a bit slow and I struggled to get into it but once I finally did get immersed I ended up loving it. The spice was spot on, especially for a historical romance which I also happen to love. I don't feel like anything important was left out, so I say this can be read as a standalone. This a new to me author and I was impressed as far as a first read goes and I'm excited to read more in the future!
