This was gorgeous in illustration and storyline. The line about whether these demons were good and the demon asking "are all humans good" hit so hard that I had to pause for a second.

I've been wanting to read this for a while because I love Jason Reynolds and I love Langston Hughes so, as expected, I ended up loving this book.

It was so moving to read this one and I liked the notes about the historical figures at the end.

This one had me giggling. It made me feel warm and fuzzy, it was just so sweet.

This is the kind of book I wish was around when I was little. Such a great introduction to speaking up about what matters.

Great affirmations to read along with little ones.
