This was so fun! It was steamy, spicy, and an all around good time. It wasn’t too plot heavy but it did brush over some interesting issues of divorce and being a single parent. Rafe and Sloan’s chemistry was off the charts and I loved the way it ended. Definitely want to continue this series.

I saw this at the library and decided to check it out. I’m glad I did. This was such a cute, soft read. I enjoyed the whimsy of it and it was super easy to follow along. It was great.

I’ve been reading this over the past month and I loved it. Angela Davis does a great job of connecting the universality of these struggles. It was interesting to see how the struggle in Palestine connects to police brutality in the US. I enjoyed getting that global perspective.

I absolutely loved this story. It took me a while to get through because I wanted to savor each image. The way the illustrations and words come together to tell such beautiful stories was done so well and the author's notes at the end made the reading experience even better. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

This was an interesting story and I enjoyed seeing the Titans in a completely different way. I watched the show as a kid so seeing them all grown up and Starfire with a child of her own was a cool take. I wish the ending had taken a less cliche route. There were so many other ways things could’ve been wrapped up and the way things go kind of pulls away from some of the lessons that I thought the story was pushing.

This was so good! I would read portions of it on my train ride to school and it was fun savoring the story. I loved the characters and the plot just kept giving.

I read this for my Plantationocene class. It was an interesting read, definitely has its problematic elements but a surprisingly feminist take for a story written so long ago.

White women writing stories about Black people, especially enslaved people, has never sat right with my spirit. The only reason I read this one was because I had to for my Plantationocene class. Just read a slave narrative from someone who was actually enslaved.

This was such a great analysis of Black women and our relationship to feminism. hooks addresses a lot of the qualms that I’ve had with feminism growing up and how it’s presented. I can definitely see the influence she has had on other Black feminist scholars.

I loved this. It was such a great portrayal of how toxic relationships affect other aspects of life, especially for teens. I truly couldn’t stand Laura Dean but that was the point. Highly recommend.
