I liked this story. It’s a little dated since it’s from 2011 but the message is still a strong one and I enjoyed following Dennis’ character arc. It’s a quick read, I finished it in less than an hour.

I LOVE this essay collection. Austin Channing Brown wove these personal narratives together so well. Some essays were particularly heartbreaking but they were all so honest. Brown is a truly gifted writer and the end left me feeling hopeful in a way that doesn’t shy from reality.

This was such a great conclusion! I’m a huge fan of time travel and I loved the way this series played with it. The characters were great and their relationships with one another were really nice to see.

This is my favorite volume of the series so far. The pacing was great and now more of the plot is unfolding. A few more questions have been answered or hinted at and I loved the ending of this one. I’m loving how this builds on the previous issues. I can’t wait to pick up Volume 6!

This was a fun, quick read. The narrator was very witty and I enjoyed the dry humor throughout the story. Definitely recommend for sci-fi fans.

Things are starting to pick up and make more sense now. It’s getting wild.

This was a  fun read. I loved getting to know these characters and the way they grew together. The second chance romance trope is one I personally enjoy a lot and I think this one was done really well.

I feel like more of our questions are being addressed while still keeping the audience in the dark enough to make me want to keep going. I really like the direction this story took and the characters are so interesting. I’m excited to see what happens next.

I feel like this volume was even more confusing than the first one, but I can see how it’s setting up different plot points for the future of this series. I definitely want to continue on with this series and get all my questions answered. I really like the characters and the sci-fi  element is super cool.

This was such a beautiful story. I enjoyed how the plot was woven together. There was a lot going on but it all got addressed at one point or another and it came together wonderfully. I loved the colorful cast of characters and the representation of Cuban culture was great. The mysticism element was also a lot of fun. Overall, a great novel.
