Oh I loved this book so much! It was pretty different from what I imagined, it was so much more wholesome. I expected more drama from the synopsis.

But there was no drama and I loved that so much. A bit of angst yes, but no unnecessary misunderstandings or last minute break ups just to keep the story going.
Alex is so patient with Corbin and isn't pushing him. Loved that!

My first book by T. Kingfisher and it was delightful.
It was such a nice story that didn't take itself too seriously.

The magic system was so unique, I don't think I've read anything similar so far. I also really enjoyed the creative ways in which dough can be used for battle.

What I also liked was that there wasn't a romantic aspect wedged in there just for the sake of having one. The story was perfect without one.

I had a fantastic time listening to the audio book.

This was quite a short addition to the series this time, but the stories were still interesting.
I can't really say much without getting into spoilers so here it goes.

The first story was one of the typical 'you get what you deserve' stories. I'm not even mad that he got replaced by a much nicer version of himself.

The second story was similar. The teenage guy being moody and hating everything and everyone, when they're just trying to be nice. How's cousin even saying that he's collecting his tickets for him so he can get the console he wants.

The third one was the best in my opinion. It was dark, twisted, played with your mind. I'm still not sure what really happened in the end, but that's fine.

Another great addition to the Fazbear Frights  series.

The first story was kind of sad. I felt really sorry for Angel and the way she is being treated by her family.
She did deserve better, it's just that one thing she did and it just had to end horribly.

The second one really had me with the way he slowly got more and more engrossed by Lucky Boy. Not being able to make a single decision without asking him first.
The gore in the end was perfect, such a disgusting image.

The last story, didn't really stuck with me. It was a bit confusing what was real and what was not, but I guess that was the point. Him slowly getting memories back, that his brain kept hidden before, was interesting.

I read this book as part of a reading challenge to break out of my comfort zone. I thought it might be interesting, but I had no idea that there would be so much Christian religious stuff in there. It didn't say anywhere in the blurb or on audible.
So it really wasn't what I expected and I want as interested as before, even if he had some good ideas. The whole missionary talk just isn't my thing.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 20%.
I started this book for a reading challenge to try a book out of my comfort zone. I guess it really was out of my usual interests, I really wasn't interested and got so bored that I zoned out.
I'm really sorry to the author, but it just wasn't my thing.
