Did this play for first year in uni. While I didn't really vibe with it at first, the more I read, the more I enjoyed it. Fave character is Sideway because he might just be me fr. Really makes you think about the power of literature and rehabilitation. Very neat play.

I love this manga, it's my favourite, and I'm so glad it's finally been published in English! Very dark, very cruel, but a great read for people with a strong stomach and appreciation for amazing art!

What can I say, it's a classic. The Hate monologue and the ending is just iconic, I don't even need to write a full review.

PJ Harvey's writing is literally amazing. I love her music, which is why I brought this as soon as I found it in Waterstones. The story's really immersive and written beautifully. I also really like the Dorset writing, you don't really see that dialect written often so it was really fun having a delve into it. All around, really good.

All I remember is thinking Hawthorne was gay, but he's actually actively homophobic. That was kinda funny (I'm bi don't come after me.) I really like the narrative tool of authors putting themselves into a story. It may be a cheap Sherlock dupe, but it is MY cheap Sherlock dupe and you can't take that away from me.

Again, it's been 5 years since reading this. It's a good children's book and I read it as a child, so I found it enjoyable. There was some actually really tense moments in this book, so that's cool.

I'm writing this review 5 years after I initially read the book. And there's still scenes which I thoroughly remember reading (mainly the Nate and Bronwyn getting cheeky scene but we don't talk about that.) But I think it still holds up, but not something I'd read now. Yeah.

May pick it up again but I don't really like non fiction even if I am autistic about TLOG
