Wow just wow , 😮 this book was honestly mind blowing , I’m not a US citizen but I’m always fascinated with reading books that talk about the history and the problems of minorities in the US.
This book talking about the movement of Japanese People into Internment camps during World War II and honestly it opened my mind to a lot of things and I honestly think everyone should read this book especially American citizens because I realized that a lot of America’s history gets censored so uplifting books like these are so necessary to hear other people’s experiences and stories.
I also recommend a similar book as well called Displacement by Kiku Hughes which also talks about the internment camps and the trauma that came with those experiences.

It was a cute little read , and I needed palette cleanser , I love middle grade books because of the way they handle difficult topics especially when it pertains to little children anyways love this

This was a cute little story , very inspirational and had a lot of important quotes that I would love to read over and over
But the font in this book is atrocious literally gave me a headache

OH MGOd Viano is definitely an auto read author for me because wtf , not only is her writing so good and easy to fly through, the way she writes relationship dynamics is just *chef’s kiss* beautiful.
This is the second book in the Sweet Demons series by her and normally I’m not like a huge series person because a lot of the time the second book in a series end up being so disappointing for me but this was not the case for this series (I might even say that this was way better than the first book🤷🏾‍♀️)
This book is about Saint and Knight ( knight being the demon and saint the human) and omg their relationship was just breathtaking , how similar yet so different how they just completed each other in ways that they themselves didn’t even know they did and ughhhhh Knight the king of Consent always making sure that they were enthusiastically on the same page and not even hesitating to back off once there is even a sliver of doubt 🥹
Like i literally don’t want to say anything else because I want no need people to read this series especially this book and feel all the feels that I felt.
100000% recommend it

this is the first book in a series but tbh I’m not really interested in reading any more of the books in this series
This wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either
It started out really slow burny which I was enjoying because the main characters had really good banter but then suddenly they skipped the building of romance straight to just smut  although there was only one smut scene throughout the whole book. But my issue is they had no prior conversations about it, no discussion of what it is they were doing , they just went straight into kink ( which mind you one of the main characters had never even done before )
If you are looking for a good DD/LB book I honestly don’t recommend this book, there was no aftercare no prior anything just went straight into calling each other Daddy/Boy like ughhh 🙄
The only thing I liked was the attention deficit rep which I think should have been talked about more but oh well 🤷🏾‍♀️

Tbh I don’t even know what to write about this book, took me wayyyy too long to finish for a 200+ page book , and that was genuinely because I was confused for 80% of the book
I am a usual consumer of monster romances so I decided to branch out to alien romances and I’m not so sure that they are for me or maybe it’s this series 🤔
