Honestly just meh. My brain is still recovering from having to hear SISSY a thousand times. Honestly coming from absolutely loving her previous books, this one is just a huge let down. I feel like the story really went no where and the characters were uninteresting.
This book has taken me a very long time to finish. Being a victim of DV myself in a past relationship I had to really take the time and read as I was ready. I’m extremely happy with how the book turned out and everything that is to come in the sequel.
4.5/5 Would’ve made it 5 stars if I enjoyed the message behind the hijacker’s, but climate change just felt like a filler instead of something that actually meant anything. Overall really enjoyed the book and couldn’t turn the audio off or “put the book down”haha
The audiobook did an AMAZING job at playing off the twist, it came early but this was a quick and interesting read.
Not my typical read but literally captivated me the entire time. I was hooked. I felt very attached to Kya. The book was a rather slow burn but I couldn’t stop listening. Loved it!
4/5. Took me a while to get into it, which is surprising for me. The beginning is a ton of world building which is absolutely necessary for a series as big at it is. I can see little instances where Tamlin will get on my not favorite list. Jumped right into the second book and now I’m hooked!
