June is an awful person and a terrible narrator, and it’s confusing if Kuang is making a criticism on authors or pretending like these kinds of ideas are fine in the publishing industry? The whole story was too vague on its stance until the last chapter and could have been a touch more black and white; don’t plagiarise

There was a big focus on low self esteem which didn’t really appeal to me and some of the translations felt chunky and difficult to comprehend, but overall I really liked the structure and overall idea and emotions
