This is how a novella sucks you in!

Side note: she said he looks better than Jason Mamoa, and though the guy on the cover may be handsome, Jason he is not! Fix it!

This was a page turner and now I’m invested. I wanna see where Siobhan and Iskander end up! Very sexy. Very fast paced. Honest male love interest.

Can we ever get parents in a book who don’t traumatized their children with guilt or “this is your family” monologues

4⭐️ because if I can’t have a Rafe then I don’t want him!

I enjoyed this book for what it was. I enjoy a buff male nanny. This was a cute love story. I enjoyed a sensitive, attentive, understanding, patient, emotionally mature male love interest. We love an unproblematic love interest. I also liked how loving and patient he was with Sloan’s children. “Hugs or high fives?” Doing their curly hair. Though I liked so many aspects of Rafe, I just wanted more. I was genuinely bored at times. However, that could be because of what this book sounded like

And yet. 3⭐️.

This book was good. Literally made me laugh out loud. I read this very quickly. Couldn’t put it down. I don’t think Adam was grumpy or anything like that, it’s supposed to be grumpy/sunshine. I loved their, Olive and Adam, (MC and LI) banter back and forth. So freaking cute

I realized that I don’t like anthologies or short stories. This was supposed to be scary, creepy, horrific. Didn’t care about any of the characters in any of the stories. Didn’t get scared reading this.

I hate the indecisiveness of the characters. That grinds my gears. Lori, again not my favorite character. Very bad decisions. Blaming the only person doing the work. Tens acting like 5 year olds. I would’ve left this group so long ago. There isn’t any camaraderie, trust, safety or anything you need to survive in a zombie apocalypse.

I didn’t like Lori’s character in the show and I really don’t like it here. She’s annoyingly aggravating. But other than that I enjoyed the comic. It moves so fast that you don’t have any concept of time. A day, a week, a month, just turn the page lol. I love that I’m not getting to see the origins of what happened and how things really went down before they televised it. Can’t wait to read the next volume.
