OBSESSED!!!!Felt all the feels

3.5 ★ - I really enjoyed getting to read Wes and Liz’s story some more but I’m not sure it was really needed… While great, it kind of neglected everything that made the first book so great in my eyes. The characters both changed so much so it was almost easier for me to see this book as a different story. Soo I don’t think it was near as good as the first in my opinion and miscommunication books personally drive me crazyyy

Maybe it’s just me being a women in science but I really enjoyed this! There was one twist that actually caught me by surprised which I appreciated. Makes me want to read The Love Hypothesis

There’s just something so sweet about reading a romance book like this. I’ve been loving reading Ali Hazelwood books as breaks between my fantasy books lately.
Includes:
• faking dating
• grumpy x sunshine
• he falls first

What a disappointment… The concept was there and with the second Gladiator movie coming out I thought this would be a nice read but it just wasn’t executed well. The first half was fine but I was stuck for so long that eventually I just skimmed the second half of the book to finish

I wasn’t sure I should continue the second half of the series because I didn’t know where else the story could go but the second half of the book was great!! Love the drama between Juliette and Warner. And Kenji is still the best character! The reveal at the end

STUNNING! It was a whirlwind of emotions and just beautifully written. I know I’m going to be thinking about this book for a while. Highly recommend!!!

My only issue was it talked about baptism and faith in such a negative light which was upsetting to read

Reminds me of Kindred’s Curse and Red Queen when it comes to the politics and some of the relationships. Nice fantasy read as a break from Christmas books

Different than most my romance reads with it following an older woman going through a divorce but some parts reminded me of “How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days” but reversed. It was a fun read!
•enemies to lovers
•one bed

yes I already finished it and yes it was the cutest holiday read!! This felt like I was watching a rom com
