4.25 ★ - This was not at all what I was expecting… I wanted a light romance read but instead got a heartbreaking breakdown of different relationships. It focused on the whole family and not just the couple which I appreciated! Also the reveal near the end SHOOOK me. Just loved this

3.5 ★ - It’s the classic fake dating pretend you’re not interested although they did try to switch it up a little to not be as cliche. It was a cute holiday read with lots of banter (gave all the Hallmark vibes)
• sunshine x grumpy trope
• he falls first and harder
Lots of references to: Jane Eyre, Pride & Prejudice, Terminator, & Home Alone

I honestly don’t know how to rate this but this is what I’m going with for now
4.5 ★ - Better than the first book in my opinion and apparently they get better each book. My emotions were all over the place… The friend group kind of reminds me of the OG group in Gossip Girl with how they are there for eachother
I’m not sure this type of writing will be for everyone but I’m officially hooked and have to finish the series
My biggest issue is that some of the conversations are very repetitive

Didn’t like this one as much… maybe it was the time jumps. It just didn’t feel the same as the last two books. Their relationship is so toxic it’s kind of hard to read so for now Johnny and Shannon are my favorite but maybe Redeeming 6 will change my mind

booktok really let me down with this one. There was some great moments but overall it was too long and the plot just wasn’t there for me
3.5 ★ - this was a funny Christmas read to finish just in time for the holidays.
2.5 ★ - I didn’t realize this was a novella at first so it was a quick read. Also, I wouldn’t consider this a christmas book because it mainly focused on the month of December as a whole. The relationship was kind of boring to me… they like each other pretty quickly and just pretend they don’t the rest of the book so there’s really nothing to get excited about
Cute read for the winter

3.5 ★- I liked this one more for Joey and Aoife because the timeline lined up with Johnny and Shannon’s books but I had to take breaks while reading cause it just got so depressing with what these kids went through
Excited to read Gibsie and Claire’s story next!!

I was planning to give this book 4 ★ because I love Gibsie and Claire but this book did not do them justice after all the build up. I feel like their relationship didn’t change much and after years of friendship I thought them getting together would be a bigger deal than it was… Also, Lizzie bothered me so much and so I’m curious how Chloe Walsh will make me like Lizzie in the next book
Also, why did the other couples get 2 books each but it seems Gibsie and Claire might only get 1?
