I felt like this book could of been cut in half by the lack of communication and I’m never a fan of any type of cheating (emotional in this case) BUT dang I was not expecting for it to be so sad near the end

At first I wasn’t sure how I felt about the book but so happy I kept reading. This book reminds me so much of ACOTAR and Throne of Glass. Very interested to see how this series continues

Also, Carrion is the BEST comic relief!!

Took forever to get this book… overall it was very enjoyable but sort of predictable. It reminded me a lot of Red Queen which is probably why

I felt like the book was very repetitive but the ending saved it

This book was a nice change from normal fantasy books. You get thrown straight into this world, and I appreciate a true enemies to lovers story line

Not at all what I was expecting this story to be like. Some nice twists

Really fascinating world! The FMC reminds me of Celaena from Throne of Glass series… although maybe even more bloodthirsty. My only issue was the first few hundred pages were difficult to get through. The vocabulary is difficult to keep up with at times even though it paints a unique world

At first I wasn’t sure I needed to read the whole series before this book butttt boy am I glad I did. This book connected all the stories from the previous books as well as some mentions of characters in her other series. Really captures some heartbreaking topics
