I’m forever changed. I wish I had read this in my adolescence. I will certainly make sure my daughter reads it. Just beautiful. I cried like a baby. Stargirl is everything I wish I had the strength to be in high school. She symbolizes everything I hold dear in my adulthood. Can’t wait to read the sequel! Highly recommend!

I was completely enraptured by this book. I love and hate the idea of distrusting the protagonist. Some of the twists definitely caught me by surprise and it kept me on the edge of my seat. I will say though, I’m so confused by the ending. But maybe a second read will clear things up? But either way, this book made me want to delve into more thrillers in the future. It was a nice departure from my usual read.

This set my midwestern, 90s baby, heart ablaze! I listened to the audiobook. Sometimes when a non-fiction book is read by the author on the audiobook, it comes off as stale and feels forced. NOT THIS ONE. Jackie Van Ness is fantastic! His voice brings the book to life and makes it feel incredibly genuine. I had no idea everything he’s gone through. I laughed. I cried. This book is really about self love. Highly recommend.
