This was a great end to the series!! This was a fast paced thriller that I could not put down.

These are such quick reads that can be read within a day. I liked this one. We finally got a resolution on the aliens who kidnapped the girls.

The spicy scenes 👩🏼‍🍳💋

This one is probably my favorite so far out of all of them.  This one feels like a Tarzan meets Jane retelling.

Harlow is kidnapped by a rouge alien but he’s different. He doesn’t speak English or the native language but Harlow and Rook know there mates.

This one was fun! It did help that it finally time jumped to a year after the crash. Also I could not picture the pregnancy time of over a year.

This was a 5⭐️ thriller in my books

Joanne is living her best life. She has a new baby and ab amazing husband. When her husbands daughter comes to stay with them things don’t add up.

This was a great thriller that just kept going. We have Joanne who is an unreliable narrator. Between her past and her postpartum we don’t know if we can believe what she is seeing.

The very end is like a roller coaster and doesn’t stop until the very last sentence.

T.J. Newman cannot write a bad book. Each book set on a different airline disaster draws me in while also instilling my fear of flying in the near future.

A plane has crash. Not just crashed but into a nuclear plant. Now they must figure out how to save the town before everyone is killed by the radiation.

This book just starts with a bam right from the start. You are drawn in with all the carnage and the disaster that is happening.

This will probably be my favorite of the 3 she’s wrote after Drowning. I don’t know what was with these characters but I felt so connected and then when they started dying off it hurt my heart.

The only reason it’s not a 5⭐️ is there was a couple slow parts that I felt like I wanted skip. But 80% of the book was so fast paced that I either could not put the book down or was thinking about when I could read it.

Thank you Little Brown and Company for a free copy of Worst Case Scenario for a honest review.
medium-paced

This book was fun but does not have a lot of substance to it.

We have Hannah who I’m guessing is a middle age single woman. She hates her job. Her “boyfriend” ghosts her. She becomes obsessed with the serial killer William who is on trial for the murder of 4 women. She falls in love with her but is still trying to decide if he murdered those women.

This book was a light read, even with all the murder because they really didn’t get into them. We get Hannah and William writing and then quickly falling in love.

The plot wasn’t deep but it was there enough to keep entertained. The ending feels incomplete which I think the author did on purpose but I hated it.

Mary is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Her books are twisty and keep you pulled until the very end.

This book we get two POVs from Alex and Quinn. They almost feel like two different paths that don’t connect. We don’t get their connection until near the end of the book.

Quinn also almost feels like an unreliable narrator during the whole book and don’t know what to believe.

These books can be read within a day. They are quick. They do feel a lot lighter then the actual tv show which at some times can feel dark.

If you have seen the show it won’t spoil the books for you and as they very different.
emotional mysterious slow-paced

If you were into following the cults from the 60s and 70s. This is the book for you.

10 years ago Claire was the only survivor of a mass suicide in a cult started by Dom Bragg. Now with the start of a podcast, memories are being dug up.

This was an easy book to get into and read. I never felt bored as we went through the POVs in the past and present. We have Claire is who is an unreliable narrator as she doesn’t remember what happened 10 years ago. We also get POVs for a cult member and the leader himself.

The ending did fell slightly rushed and quickly wrapped up. I think I would have liked more build up and I felt like the “killer” wasn’t apart of the story until the end.

But the last chapter was pure gold.
