I enjoyed this book, but it was very over-the-top dramatic and some of the main characters' actions just didn't make much sense. It just wasn't the best-written book I've ever read. However, the plot and setting are very interesting it is a mix of Beauty And The Beast and The Nutcracker. So I may read the next book when it comes out, but it won't be a priority.

I have minor issues with this book, like the sexism and Kallias not being around much. Now I do know that those details are in the book because they add to the plot, but it doesn't mean I have to like them.

However, overall I really enjoyed this book. I got sucked right into eventually, and fell in love with the characters. I enjoyed the plot because it was different.

This book was a big one, it was very long-winded and the timeline was a little confusing because it jumps around a bit. I don't completely blame the author because the British Royal family is confusing, however there was some paragraphs that took up the whole page and it was just unnecessary.

However, I did enjoy getting a little bit of insight to the Queen's life and how the people around her viewed her. Overall the book was good.

I was supposed to read this last month, but other books took priority, but I honestly wish I'd put it higher on my TBR because I really needed this light hearted romance to lighten up my mood a little. I don't have any complaints for this book, other than it being a little dramatic and over the top. But this kind of what I signed up for and I really enjoyed it for that reason.

I did find this book quite helpful and there’s a few things I will take with me when I start looking for a job but it did feel like it dragged a little. Maybe because of the topic of the book but it was still worth reading.

I really enjoyed this series as a whole but this last one definitely wasn't my favourite. I am however excited to read more books by Jennifer Lynn Barnes.

I don’t think I have to explain why I was reading this book, I got it from the library. It definitely got me thinking but I don’t think I learnt a lot. Maybe I need time for the lessons to sit, I don’t know. It was another meh book.
