I really struggled to put this down. Before I started I thought it would be from Oak’s point of view so I was little disappointed to find out it wasn’t. But the disappointment didn’t last long. You don’t complete learn why Wren was the narrator until the end, but after a few chapter I didn’t care. I enjoyed seeing things through her eyes.

I could honestly write a whole blog post on this book, and I might. I did really enjoy it and I need more. I am dying to know what happens next. I want to say so much more but I know I’ll either go on a rant or spoil things for someone who hasn’t read the book yet.

This was kind of dark. It was nice to understand more of why Carden was the way he was. You got like a look into his head. It was a nice read.

I loved this book, especially because of the way Jude and Carden's relationship formed. It was just so cute. But the building of the plot kept me on my toes, especially because I couldn't not predict what was going to happen accurately. Every time I thought I had figured it out I was so wrong, and I was glad I was wrong.

This is one of those books that when I finished it I just had to stare at nothing for a while because I just couldn't collect my thoughts. I loved this.

I don't have the special edition book, but I did find the letters online and I just thought it was the cutest. It got me even more excited for the next book.

This was a really light romance, that took me a few hours to read. There wasn’t much meat to this story, but the plot was cute. I stumbled across it on TikTok and found out there’s book for every month so since this one wasn’t so bad I thought I’d read one a month. It feels fitting.

I wouldn’t really recommend this to anyone. But I also wouldn’t say don’t read it. It wasn’t special or boring. It was just cute.

This book bored me, I just didn't really enjoy it. I am glad it was really short. After reading The Queen Of Nothing I understand why this was written but it doesn't change my opinion much.

The tension, the conflict. Sometimes I just wanted to shake Jude, she needed to just to relax. She put all this weight on her own shoulders. That kind of didn’t need to be their. I can see why she felt the way she did but goodness girl, you need a massage and some sleep.

She had everything under control but she was tightly pulled in a hundred different ways that she could see what was right in front of her which made the ending so much more heartbreaking. Because she was finally starting to relax, she was finally starting to believe and Carden just stabbed her in the back. I’m honestly glad I have the whole series because I couldn't have sat with that ending. I just instantly picked up the next book.

This is the second time I have read this, I love it. I need to get my hands on the whole series. The heartbreak, the betrayal, it's all so exciting and I need more. I need to know what happens next. If you haven't read this. You should.

First of all, this book is messed up. Like really messed it up, it’s completely messed with my head. I’m not sure what I believe if you’ve read the book you’ll completely understand what I’m talking about, but if you haven’t read this book honestly save yourself and don’t read it.

Don’t get me wrong it was a good read, and I think I would enjoy reading it again. I’d probably read it again to see if I can work out what I believe actually happened. But Colleen Hoov er is incredibly problematic, and again this book is messed up. I thought I’d read messed-up books but I think this one takes the cake. I kind of regret being so nosey for this one, which is the only reason I read it. But there are some things you shouldn’t just read. This is one of them

Did I enjoy it? Yes. It was exciting, and I got completely engrossed in the whole story. Would I recommend it to anyone? No, I would not encourage anyone to read this book, like ever.

The only reason I am even writing this review is that I have read the reviews on this book and everyone praises it, so I just wanted to share a review that doesn’t.

I can never say no to a Holly Bourne book, I’ve seen this one in my library a few times and this time I decided why not? I wasn’t completely prepared for some of the heartbreak I would feel at moments of the story. This is a very realistic portrayal of what high school is like. I do wish that we could have gotten a longer ending, it just felt slightly rushed to me. But other than that I loved it. You can never go wrong with Holly Bourne.
