Will I ever finish this book... maybe...
I was over the main charter for many reasons, but the biggest one was how awful she was. I personally found it so hard to enjoy a book if I don't like the main charter.
One day, I may sit down and finish it, but who knows when or if that may be... so that's it from me until the next book.

There is no way I can keep doing this to myself, yes I will read the very end of the last book so I know what the hell happens but that’s it. I’m so over it. I can’t even explain why other then it was so bad. That’s it’s. Until the next book I guess…

I’m ready for the next one to be out so I can read it…

I liked it. It was a really quick read which was super nice. I also felt like this was the perfect time to read this book. {I DEVOURED it.}
I will say that the romance felt a little to quick to me. It was (from what I’m guessing) a enemies to lovers which I’m always down for. But it felt very quick to me. Again that’s 100% personal, but I wanted more between the two of them yk.
I will say the plot was good and I enjoyed the mystery aspect of it all.
I’m really looking forward to the next book to see how everything goes down!!

— spoilers from here on out—
Signa is a 19 year old girl who can see spirits along with death himself. They fall in love well trying to solve the murder and attempted murder of her new family.
I really didn’t see Percy being the killer and learning that he wanted to kill his real mother was really sad.
I will say I loved how dark and descriptive this whole book was.
Death as a character was interesting to say the least. The things he said were… yum… Not going to lie it was kinda hot… I am hoping that that these next book or two give us more backstory of Death and who he is and what his life has/ had looked like.
I’m also very intrigued with Fate! I’m looking forward to see how he plays a role in all of this along with the new murder literally happing the last page of the book…
As for Signa and her cousin Blythe, again I’m really curious to see how their story’s continue. Also I want to know when or if anyone else finds out about Percy and how everyone will feel about it….

That’s all for me on this one! I will say that this book was really good, which for me is no surprise because I’ve enjoyed two of Adalyn Grace’s books before! Well… until the next book!!

I really enjoyed the plot.
The main character… not so much.

I feel like I can learn to love her, but when girl was so surprised to found out that the people she trusted betrayed her, she lost me.
I saw the ending from a mile away like come on. I will say I’m 100% reading the next book asap because I’m a little invested. I am a little worried because I just learned that this is going to be a trilogy and to me it feels like it should be two books, but I’m keeping a open mind because I obviously haven’t read the second one.
I like Jacks and want to see where this all goes. I will say there were moments I was like “damn homey… y you have to say it like that…” 😊
I’m ready and I’m excited to see how the rest of this series goes! 👋🏻 in-till the next book!!
