This book has everything: witches, magic, multiple fairy godmothers, ghosts, a dog made of bones, revenge, an evil prince, a chicken inhabited by a demon. It is a delightful, heartwarming, fantastical fairy tale that I found completely engaging from the first page to the last. Easily the best of T. Kingfisher's works to date, and I have enjoyed them all so far. I absolutely loved it.
