SPOILER WARNING:

When I first started this book, I was sad that there wasn’t any Feysand content from Feyre or Rhys’s point of view, but after getting into the story I loved that it was from Nesta’s point of view.
I’m not going to argue with anyone, but the reason the inner circle drew a line at 500 gold coins on drinking and gambling was not because they didn’t have the money - it was because they were concerned for her because they loved her, and the drinking was getting dangerous.
I genuinely think that Feyre was extremely generous to Nesta, considering how Nesta was acting to her. Feyre offered Nesta a chance to get sober, learn to protect herself and make new friends, and that is what happens. This wouldn’t have happened if Feyre had been unkind to her.
I love how Nesta becomes friends with the house - and it recommends her books.
Another person that is was extremely generous to Nesta is Cassian. Obviously near the end of the book we find out they are mates, but he is so kind to her when she is being horrible to him.
This whole book would have been extremely different without the kindness of Feyre and Cassian. It is their kindness that makes Nesta cry when they are on a hike, and realise that she is being so horrible to them. It is their kindness that saves her.
Another thing I love about a Court of silver flames is the Valkyries. I love that they are all women who have been hurt by men, the outcasts that no one thinks would be capable of fighting.
When Nesta let Emerie and Gwyn win the Blood Rite I think that is when I saw how much she had changed since the start of the series. She let her friends win, rather than win herself or give up.
I was so certain that Feyre, Rhys and Nyx were going to die. I can’t explain how happy it made me that they didn’t - and that Nesta saved them.
I also found it very funny when it said that Rhys kept buying Nesta stuff. I was thinking “ yes, that is exactly what he would do.”
Nyx is so adorable as well, and I would love a book about the inner circle raising him. It would be so cute but also hilarious. Imagine Rhys, Cassian and Az trying to tell Nyx about sex - that would be so funny.
Circe by Madeline Miller

I absolutely loved “Circe” by Madeline Miller. It was a great read, and I didn’t feel like it was dragged out.
“Circe” follows the Greek Mythological tale of the Goddess Circe. She is the daughter of the Titan of the Sun, Helios, and her mother is a daughter of Oceanus, called Perse.
I bought this instantly without reading the full blurb as I knew that Madeline Miller writes about Greek Mythology, which I love.
One thing I loved about is how it felt like many different stories that link together, instead of just one.
Another thing I loved about it was seeing the Olympians from a Titan’s point of view, which I hadn’t seen before. I must admit however, that “Circe” made me not like a Goddess that I had previously liked.
From a different point of view, I think that Circe would be disliked, and possibly even hated, but from her own point of view, I adored her.
If you have this book sitting on your to be read, please pick it up and read it. It is amazing.
