This was a heartfelt and hopeful book. I loved how Nicholas set boundaries in his relationship with Rachel. Nicholas was a sweetheart who stood by Rachel through hard times. This book is encouraging! It reminded me of the power of prayer and community. This book also encouraged me to visit those who are sick and homebound to pray and to encourage them.

This book ended on a cliffhanger. I did not see that ending coming! I’m not ready to read book 3 because then the series will be over! I enjoyed the characters, the plot, etc. Lindsay A. Franklin is a great storyteller and writer.
