This is a heartwarming book about a girl named Marvel who struggles with anxiety. This book had me in tears because I can relate to struggling with anxiety. The growth that Marvel experiences throughout this book is very realistic. Marvel learns that she may always have anxiety but it doesn’t have to be all consuming.

Quotes
“Another thing I hate about having anxiety is all the stuff, it stops me from trying.

“Of all the ways my anxiety hurts me, the loneliness might be the most painful.”

Courage comes from many sources, the most powerful of which is love.”

Concerns
During the play, Marvel played the character Peter and Theo played Aunt Dete. I didn’t like that because the characters name could have been changed.

This is my first book by Emma St. Clair. I enjoyed the plot, the characters, etc.
I like how his friend Ty spoke the truth to him and held him accountable. I also liked how Casey and Colt held true to their convictions about saving themselves for marriage.

I loved this book! I enjoyed the honest prayers. I like how the characters relied on God and they weren’t perfect. I also liked that the characters were older.
The theme of this book is faith and trusting God with your life. Scriptures Hebrews 11 and Matthew 9
Delaney had to learn how to trust God after the death of her husband.

Mrs. Williams cracks me up and I like how she speaks the truth.

I loved this book. It is such a sweet and heartwarming story.I loved how Dwight prayed about everything.
This Prayer summarizes the theme of the book:“ Heavenly Father, we thank you for bringing us together as a family. Thank you that we belong to you and therefore are never alone. “
