I enjoyed the faith content woven throughout the story. Topics discussed in this book included caregivers, dementia, etc. This book reminded me that caregivers need someone to take care of them as they care for their loved ones.

I like how the book is broken up into three parts: falling, forgetting, and finding. I like how the story was very realistic in the way the story progressed. I cried while reading this book. The kissing scenes were a bit much for me. Sidenote: The couple was married in some scenes and not married in others. I love how the traumatic brain injury allowed Noah to get to know his wife’s family. It also allowed for Sadie’s relationship with her parents to be healed. Nash’s character is like a dream.

I loved everything about this book! The faith content was perfect! I like how Jahleel is upfront and honest about his feelings for Bebe. Hope is the cutest little character. It broke my heart to see how her relationship with her dad played out. As always, I enjoyed the real topics that are discussed in Toni Shiloh’s books. I can relate to Jahleel’s relationship with his dad.

I loved the beginning of this story: a grandmother sharing a story with her grandkids! Adorable! Hank was my favorite character. The pastor shocked me because he was more timid and afraid to speak the truth to people in love.
Something about the way Jesus was mentioned in this book isn’t sitting right with me. I just can’t put my finger on it.

This was a good book that covers real life issues: mental illness, texting while driving, etc. The saddest part is when Trish broke down in prayer. It was a raw and such a real moment. I liked the disciple relationship between Trish and Marquita.
“Prayer is your answer. When I feel like life has taken me on a journey that I can’t handle on my own, which is most of the time, I go to a room by myself and give all my problems to my Lord and Savior. He always comes through for me. “

I’m at a loss on how to write a review for this book. This book is sad and hopeful. The things people endure in death row and in prison is unimaginable. Anthony Ray Hinton is an example of enduring and preserving through hardship. This book is one everyone should read. It is about hope, forgiveness, trusting God, and how to handle hardship. One of the ways Anthony Ray Hinton survived 30 years on death row is by serving others. Anthony has a true friend in Lester.

I liked the plot. It was so sweet to see how Jonah and Lauren fell in love twice. I enjoyed the timeline jump from the past to the present.
Just as I am by Mandi Blake

This was my first book by Mandi Blake. The plot and storyline I enjoyed. I also liked Declan’s friend group. The main concern I had was that the characters Delcan and Addie put each other in a place where only God should be. They didn't rely on God for help.
