Her entire family needs to be sh*t. DEATH to all of them, as Wendy Williams would say.

Wow! This woman cannot write. I thought since atLEAST this book is fantasy she would switch up the character dynamic a little…but NOPE. still the same old quirky goofy stem queen protagonist and mysterious brooding but well meaning love interest as always. I wasn’t expecting top tier literature or anything but Jesus can she do ANYTHING else?? I did enjoy her writing style as always and i thought the world building was cool. Some interesting stuff was there. And the sex scenes were exactly what was promised in suppose. Curious on if she’s going to write a spinoff, considering the cliffhanger ending but I honestly do not need one.

Adam Silvera books are so beautiful but SOOOO SAD. God. This universe is always so interesting to me because who tf would want this. Like I can see both sides...You'd get more time to do what you want to do but I can't imagine waking up one day just knowing I was going to die within 24 hours. Personally I'd be shaking in my boots. Hell no.

GODDDDDDD. This concludes my Riordanverse reread/read. I can’t believe it! Took almost 3 months but I did it!!! Wtf am I going to do with my life now…This book was so good. It made me feel so nostalgic. Tried VERY HARD to savor it and read it bit by bit but obviously I failed and read it in basically 2 days. This was basically fanfiction…but in a good way. Like a really really long short story but it had deeper meaning. Loved all the themes about family and friendship and growing up and moving on…As someone about to graduate in 2 months um…this hit different! Definitely need to go get a therapist woah. Really enjoy seeing Percabeth in their domestic chill era. Very cool to see what their relationship is like when they’re not literally fighting for their lives or trudging through hell.

This was a super sweet and easy listen. I love Adiba Jagirdar books! I love the combination of Ireland + Desi Culture +  Lesbians. Iconic. Who’s doing it like her?? I’m usually not a fan of second chance romance but I think it works because they’re young. Overall I enjoyed it and I’m very excited for her upcoming books.

Wow…that was cinema. That was poetry. That was healing. THAT WAS SO GOOD. This is my favorite Rick Riordan book in a long time. As an aficionado of angst and hurt/comfort fanfiction…I ate this shit up. The tone of this book is so different than any other Percy Jackson universe book and i can only assume that’s because of Mark Oshirio. BLESS THEM. So heartbreaking and beautiful and intimate. I really hope they collaborate on something else in the future.

The Son of Sobek: PERCYYYYYYYYYY. Oh my god i missed him so much. It’s good to be back! This was SO FUN. i love Percy and i love Carter and seeing them interact??? Chef’s kiss. Both of them are hilarious. The fight scene was incredible. i love seeing Percy from other people’s perspectives. He’s SCARY!!. Carter!!! Holding his own against and schooling Percy Jackson! Good for him. i can’t wait for him to meet Annabeth so he can finally have some intelligent conversation.

The Staff of Serapis: I didn’t enjoy this quite as much as Son of Sobek but still a good time! Very much enjoyed getting Annabeth’s POV. i feel like Sadie and Percy are both so chaotic and that’s why Rick decided to make Carter and Annabeth the POV characters, since they actually think things through. This was a really sweet team up. i think it’s hilarious how Carter and Percy instantly tried to kill each other but Annabeth and Sadie became bffs.

The Crown of Ptolemy: THAT’S CINEMA. I was so excited for this particular story. Percabeth + the Kane siblings? What could go wrong. The Kane’s really carried in the first half cause Percy and Annabeth were getting COOKED goddamn. i love how Percy’s inner monologue while getting his ass BEAT is just “Gotta get to Annabeth, gotta get Annabeth out of here, can’t let him use his magic on Annabeth.” That’s a real man!!! Loved the Carter/Annabeth and Percy/Sadie bonding. Delightful. Every duo needs an off the walls bat shit insane impulse decision maker and a smart analytical down to earth planner.

After 10 years I’ve finally finished The Kane Chronicles! Writing this review a whole week after finishing the book so I've low-key forgotten the plot already. But...This book was better than book 2 I had more fun. Very proud of Carter and Sadie. Sadie is going down in history has one of my favorite Riordanverse protagonists. What a Queen. I do NAUGHT buy into the Zia/Carter romance. Why does she even like him? Because he likes her I guess? I buy more into Sadie's love triangle but isn't it WILD that Rick Riordan put this 13 year old girl into a THROUPLE? What the hell...Glowing reviews for everyone else. Will never reread this series again. The shit just doesn't bang like PJO does idk.
