Frances is so god damn relatable it hurts. I hate that I can relate to her as. ugh as I do. I love Sally Rooney and her writing style and how she develops characters. These characters are real people to me. They feel so real I can’t help but think anything else. There are times in the book when I hate the characters and I love them. I felt all of the emotions while reading.

It was exactly what I wanted, a cute easy read that would make me feel warm and gooey on the inside. I also wish it didn’t end right after if happened like I wanted more once it ended.

It was a cute easy read that was very inclusive. I loved that it wasn’t your stereotypical girl and guy, they were real people. This book represents real people that exist in real life.

Did not finish book.
I felt as if this book was written by a 13 year old on wattpad. It was sooo bad I forced myself to get over halfway but even then I couldn’t keep going. I genuinely don’t know what to say besides how bad it was.

One thing I love about TJR’s books is that they are never perfect, they are 3 dimensional and they make mistakes that the normal person would make. Sometimes they do things that don’t make sense because they are human and make mistakes. I was enamored by this book, I was sucked in right from the first line. Talk about a good hook. For most of the book I was truly torn but more towards the end I had chosen who’s team I was on, but truly it’s a great love triangle.

Out of all of the books I’ve read I think this most accurately depicts mental health and especially OCD and anxiety. As someone that struggles with those I resonated with the main character a lot. The author put in the work and fact checked it all. I feel in love with the characters and every last word. I was shook at the plot twist and at first I was like “what” and I didn’t know if I liked it or not but as time went on I really appreciated it more and fell even more in love with every last word.

I don’t know if I’ve ever been so heartbroken for another character before. I feel like I should have had a harder time sympathizing with the main character but her story was truly so heartbreaking, I was crying for her within the first quarter of the book. My heart hurt for her. Her intentions were so honest and true when she got out of prison and she was just misunderstood. I feel like I have learned that you can’t blame others because they could also be mourning, they could also be in pain and you can never assume because it isn’t right to put your hurt onto them. I absolutely adored Ledger. His internal conflicts were calculated very well and I loved that no matter what Diem always came first. I never questioned his love for her once this whole book.

I adored this book that is the word that describes this book would  be adorable. It’s first love, friends to lovers, and boy next door. I love that as we were watching Lina’s relationships develop we also got to learn about her mom’s past. I loved trying to figure out what happened. The only thing that I would change would be is I want more Lina and Ren at the end.

I just finished this book and I am not sure how I would describe I feel about this book. I was most certainly hooked in and I kept reading because I needed to figure out what happened. Honestly it wasn’t the ending I hoped for but it 100% wasn’t the ending I was expecting.

It was very cute but personally I think it was too long for the rom com it was meant to be.  When reading a rom com and everything is perfect they are in love you wait for the other show to drop because you know it’s going to happen this time it felt very forced and it wasn’t a great conflict either like it was becoming a way bigger problem than it actually was. I absolutely loved all of the characters and especially Juno. I also loved her friend Fizzy because I felt like she was such a relatable character.

I wish that when the mom was asking Jess for money she didn’t give her the money because jess was starting to do things for herself and be more selfish and I think that for her growth as a character she shouldn’t have given her mom the money.
