This book was super cute and it was a nice book to read in between heavy reads. I read this book right when I could feel myself go into a reading slump and this was the quick lighthearted book to help me stay out of a slump. The smut was good but I was expecting more.

I thought the message was a good idea I just didn’t enjoy this book like I thought I was going to. The development and growth of the characters was probably my favorite part. I just wasn’t a huge fan of this book. I also felt that this romance was forced.

This book is so heartbreaking and sad that I felt so deeply for the characters. I could feel their pain and hurt to the point where it hurt me. Don’t read this if you want to be happy  because even though I loved it, I felt so sad and depressed.

This book had me hooked with every trope that it was filled with. Childhood friends to lovers, brother’s best friend, one bed, and fake relationship. For this being a cute and lighthearted book the smut was in fact not cute and lighthearted, it was such good smut. All day I was thinking about this book.

I originally started this book because I had a timothée chalamet obsession and I wanted to watch the movie but I convinced myself to read the book. AND WOW AM I GLAD I DID. After finishing this book I was sitting in my room just staring and processing. I was angry, sad and disappointed, not in the book but the character I thought he wouldn’t do that. Why would he do that? I asked myself all these different kind of questions. That’s when you know a book is good when you finish it and you keep thinking, and keeping wondering. While reading you are reading someone find themselves, discover themselves, and learn and grow. I was obsessed with this book when I first read it and I still am.
