Wow. Just wow. This book was fantastic. I was NOT expecting that ending. The first 2 books I had a relatively accurate idea of what the ending would be at about 80%. This one, I didn’t know how it would end until this end. Did not see that coming. Wow.

Absolutely loved this book. Read it immediately after finishing Mistborn: Final Empire. And now I cannot wait to start the Hero of Ages.

Going into this, I knew it was going to be a story with very obvious Christian themes given it was published by Crossway, one of my favorite publishers. However it didn't surprise me they published it as fiction is typically not their things. Anywho, still a good story. The writing wasn't all that great, but the plot was good enough to keep my attention.

For those claiming that they got tricked into it, I personally don't see how that's possible, as the description is very clear as to what it's about, and the author info starts out by saying that Bryan Litfin is a professor of theology at Moody Bible Institute and has an endorsement on the back by Jerry Jenkins, one of the authors of the Left Behind Series (which in all honesty, not that big a fan of). I just don't see how you can claim to be tricked into it. I personally think they're just claiming that to make Christians look bad.

Fantastic Read

I am a huge fan of the movies. They are the best movies ever made hands down. But after reading the book, the movies are still great, but do no compare to the books. The books are so much greater.
