This book made me cry real tears.
Waubgeshig Rice is a master of pacing and story building.

If you liked "Less" you might like this. I was not in the right mood for this depressing, going nowhere, real life is shitty, day to day life story of a middle-aged woman in her boring day to day shitty life, written by a man. I don't know why I originally requested it at the library...🤷🏻‍♀️

One of those highly-predictable cute stories with nice characters and a very tied-up little happy ending. Sometimes it's nice to read something like this 🙂

As soon as I started this book, I couldn't put it down. I saw myself and my weird friends and enemies in all of these characters and I was INVESTED in this relationship/friendship from the get-go.
