Did not finish book.
The main character was annoying and unlikeable, maybe I'm too sensitivite but I couldn't take him leading a girl on, it was just gross.

Holy crap. I don't even know where to start. This book is so incredible and was so fucking validating for someone who's gone through abuse. I don't even know how to express how much this book helped me, I had to take multiple breaks because the excuses
Lily used were quite literally exactly the ones my abuser did. Down to the whole "Manslaughter-murder" argument, like it was insane, I felt so incredibly uncomfortable because it was deeply familiar and so was Owen's emotions. The author is incredible, I'm going to be sure to get my own copy of this book, it was heartbreaking and I appreciate this story so very much.

Such, such, a good depiction of trauma. It broke my heart in all the best ways and felt all too real in the best way. Sometimes you really just need a book to show someone hurting as much as you are.
