this was an enjoyable read. i loved it until the last few chapters when it started to feel very cliche. it did slow down drastically about half way through and i was kinda just ready to be done with it after a while

idk if it just took me forever to read it or what but i feel like this book had some forgettable moments. i loved it, don’t get me wrong, but i do feel like some parts blended together too much or were overall forgettable. also towards the end russ felt like he was narrating the end of a 90’s coming of age movie.

This was a good holiday read. I've never read a dark Christmas romance before so this was a fun one to try out. Not as dark as I would've hoped personally.

Definitely wouldn't say this was spicy but it was a quick, cute read. It took me all of an hour to get through and added to my reading goal
