This one may be a bit of a stumbling for LaRocca, who has quickly become on of my favorite writers in the horror genre. Although the core narrative is a compelling read, those familiar with LaRocca's work may get the feeling of same-ness from this text. As well, there are two segments in which the author seems to insert short stories that really do not mesh well with the larger narrative and shatter the reader's immersion into the story.

This book contains many lessons that American workers need to internalize. The focus on white-collar jobs does come at the expense of many blue-collar laborers, but this is a good start.
