I have trouble forming opinions, I dont always know what to think of something, such as I don't always see things as predictable as others see something predictable. I just don't pick up on it.

I originally wanted to read this book because I heard there was an aromantic character, and I wanted the representation. I have to say it is definitely there, but it doesn't feel 'pushed'. It is also not a huge plot point or something that feels like the MC has to be ashamed of (according to other characters). I liked that a lot.

Plus points for there being a dog.
Now, it has been a whole since I read it, but I have my journal page in front of me. I think there were some pretty funny moments despite there being a lot of downs. I remember the chapters being quite short, actually.

This book really gave me a connection to the characters. The plot twist didn't feel out of place, but the ending where they fight the big bad did a little. It didn't feel exactly rushed, just. A bit fever dream-ish. This book has some pretty good quotes too, those being the funny moments as well.

You're Making Me Hate You: A Cantankerous Look at the Common Misconception That Humans Have Any Common Sense Left by Corey Taylor

So I really liked this, and it wasn't really biased.

I sometimes have trouble forming opinions on things. Corey stated in this book that his book is supposed to make you think, and it did make me think. I did think about certain statements, some of which I found to be true and some not. This doesn't go too deep into slipknot, more just.. Corey being Corey. I think it is an easy read, it is rude in a funny way. As I told my sibling, it will curse out your whole blood line and make you laugh about it (don't take that too literal). It is definitely interesting and if you're doubting to read, I'd give it a shot. It's a short read, but it does have (for me) long chapters. 20-ish page chapters.

So this review might be biased, as I love Ricky Olson.

But I truly do love this book. Read kt multiple times. Unfortunately couldn't get my hands on the re release signed with extra chapter.

I think this book was absolutely disgusting, embarrassing, there where what the f moments, there was so much filth and weirdness. I loved it. I haven't read many books that are just this blunt and will say what this book said.

There are many trigger warnings in this, though.

I do love the writing, but some parts were hard for me as English isn't my native language. The blurb really does not do this book justice. I think the authors note is worth reading, it talks about the weirdness of this book and why the author has chosen to write it that way.

My favorite quotes:
Because some grudges can't be forgotten.

If you've never loved someone enough to really hurt them, you've never really loved them at all.

You don't realise how much something ducks you up until it makes you change your entire life.

So I am going to have to give this one five stars. This book dragged me through mud and then punched me in the face. If you love the percy jackson series and you turn emotional reading sometimes I would definitely prepare to cry.

This book had me sobbing at 11pm in my bed with this stupid little book in my lap.

I do think it was written very well. There's kind of fun riddles that keep you excited. I love how we got to follow Annabeth's POV for the first time and get to know her better. It also really showed us more of Percabeth's relationship (this is nit a spoiler, for anyone that reads this series in the proper order?)

This book had funny moments and the sad ones. I do like how we see multiple people mix and get to trust each other, working together to save the world.

I did not like the spiders in this book 😭. But it has beautiful quotes.

I loved it.

I loved this book. 5 stars! Favorite out of the series.

So I think this book was very funny,  but it did have its moments. I love how we get to see the main character grow, especially with the love interest. There are many great side characters we've gotten known throughout the series. The author does a great job at certain hard situations that have to be faced too, for example when someone will fall in battle.

I thought this was super iconic. A got a little emotional a few times. This book is medium to fast paced, and it's even got a map.

Can I just say, Nico Di Angelo? Yes? Do we all agree? Give the guy a break. Love him.

If you're thinking of reading this series, definitely give it a shot. Big chance you're gonna love it.

I definitely loved this book. Turned me into a huge nerd.

I found this book very funny, as Percy jackson is the main character.
(It does really give away itself as being a what, 2006? book, but in my opinion that is fine with how the author goes on with criticism and betters himself. I'm not here to talk about the author tho.)
I think this book also gives *some* sort of education on Greek mythology. Yes, things were made a little more 'child friendly' and you are not an immediate expert on Greek mythology when having read this but I do think it gives a fair amount of information.  I liked the plot twist at the and, as it sets the other books up pretty well. This book also got me back into reading. Loved this one<3.

My sibling suggested this book to me as it is pretty short.

It was definitely short. I am still working on my language level English, so there were some parts that were hard for me to get through. I would almost say the first half of the book is a bit boring. But the end is in my opinion definitely a great ending. The second half was great and I could really feel the curiosity and adrenaline run through my body. I remember being weirded out at the end (not sure if it was in a bad way or not).

If you're thinking of reading this, I would definitely give it a shot. It's fun to have read..

I have re read this book a few times by now. I do love this book a lot.

I'm a huge nerd so it's only natural I'm liking this book so much. It has been a while since I read it again though. There are spoilers ahead!

I love the character building in this book. I like how Marieke Nijkamp builds characters disabled or lgbtq+ people can relate to without it being a huge plot point or something that tries to get 'fixed' throughout the book.

I could also relate to some of the characters. I do like the plot twists in this book, but I had a bad feeling about Liv the whole time already. This is definitely my favorite book if the two I have read by this author and I also got a friend hooked on this.

There are some beautiful quotes in this book, that also made me think for a while. Great book.

I loved the movie and this character, I decided to read this book.

I typically like a lot of action and drama happening. The first half of this book, for my feeling didn't happen as much. That is why this book put me in a bit of a reading slump and I kept putting it off.

However, I loved the second half of this book. More action, character development, interaction with characters. I loved getting to know Doric as a character more as well. I think it is beautifully written and worth a shot if you're thinking of reading this book.

It wasn't anything special, but it wasn't bad. Just took some time getting into it.

Many people love this book, however, as much as I hate to say it, I didnt enjoy it so much.

It is very beautifully written and I do believe it's likeable. It was just a bit too 'less' for me. A lot happened in one location and that is something just not for me.

I did shed some tears at the end. This book also put me in a slump. But, I did finish it, and I do love other books by this author.

This was simply not for me, but I see many people connecting with it after lockdown.

There's a diverse cast (as I can recall, it has been quite a few months). I did like the characters way of thinking and it kept me curious how the book would continue. I think what makes people connect with this book is how there's this kind of lock down, and how these teenagers go about it in a beautiful way, and people connect with that. The characters try to survive. But I think for me, that is what threw me off, because I hate feeling like that. Still a solid three stars.
