Canon's "It's A Long Way Down" deals with addiction, depression, relationships, and expectations. The main character, David, falls into a self-destructive loop when he tries to escape himself. The joy David found in one night of debauchery creates a lure he cannot escape. As things fall apart for David, the vices become stronger until he hits a breaking point and must decide to continue on this dark path or seek recovery.

In all, it's the book is an interesting look into one's decline into drugs. I think the Cannon could have even made the book longer and dug deeper into the character of David. His wife also seems flat and only serves as a plot device. I think we could have gotten more out of her, especially towards the end. My biggest complaint is that I wanted more. There are so many great nuggets that I think could have been expanded on.

I love everything about this event. I love the tie in books. I love Carnage eating spines. I love how fun it all is. Carnage is unstoppable and not even hell has a chance.
