Scooby Apocalypse Vol. 4 by Keith Giffen, J.M. DeMatteis

I love these books so much. When they first came out I thought it looked absurd but I can't get enough. Volume 4 ramps up the suspense and drama. Everyone is on edge.
Aero (2019-) #1 by Zhou Liefen, Pop Mhan, Keng, Greg Pak
4.0
Aero is a breathe of fresh air. The art was awesome. Done in an high quality anime style. I do mean anime and not manga too. The story hints at different elements of the character. There's a lot to unpack in future issues, and I'm interested to discover where Aero's powers come from, the threat from above, and more about her work/superhero/life balance.
People are always asking for fresh and new characters that are original and not another stem from an already established hero, like all of the Spider-People, and Aero is it.

Fuck yes! This was everything! Soo many deep cut references to Venom's history. I love the built of fear and horror of Carnage. Everything about this was perfect. The art was phenomenal. So much fun to read!
Sabrina by Nick Drnaso
5.0
A modern must-read. After Sabrina disappears the reader is shown her boyfriend, sister, and friend of her boyfriend being fed social media reactions, radio host conspiracies, and news media coverage. It's pretty mundane. A lot of characters sitting to eat, sitting at work, sitting watching tv, but that's also what makes it powerful. He'll have a page or two of no text and just show a character sitting on their phone for 9 panels. Drnaso perfectly exploits how technology feeds conspiracies.
Bob and his Beer by Cary Stringfield, Sarah Stringfield

That’s not what I expected. From the cover I thought this was going to be a book about alcoholism, but at it’s heart it’s about human connection, loss, and forgiveness. The beer is just a moment that ties these characters together.
