I thought this well written and the timeline flowed well, being in chronological order. I did think the slang was awkward as she is in my generation, which doesn’t use that slang. I also think, in general, she came across as unlikeable. She talked about all her struggles, but not really how she grew or learned from them. It seems like she’s still in the same cycle and still desperate for fame.

I loved this! I was captivated from page 1 to the conclusion and did not want to put it down! There are so many topics and themes tackled in this book and honestly I just want to talk to someone about it all! I thought all the characters were fleshed out and I could empathize with them, even if I disliked them. I also loved the ending. It was sad, but felt true to who they were throughout the book.

I really liked Evolet’s perseverance and how she never lost her fiery personality despite the hell she was put through. I also really liked how tender Eryx is with Evolet and how caring he is.

With this being a 4 book series, I imagine that we will get even greater world building and learning more of the side characters as it progresses!

Short and funny. Diesel is a fun character and I remember liking his spin off series when I was in college.

Rin could be so frustrating, but I feel like her character is also so believable. I was captivated the entire time, even though reading about battles/strategy is really not my favorite. I look forward to continuing the series and knowing what happens next after Rin’s decisions.

It was fine! Cute romance, very much “instant” with how short it was. There just wasn’t a lot of detail to really attach me to the characters or their love story. I did like Claire’s risk taking.

This love story between a sleepy girl and sleep paralysis demon was a wild ride! Let me start by saying I loveddd all the 90s references and throwbacks. It was a lot of fun reading and thinking “oh I know what that’s from!” I loved Buffy’s character and how down she was for everything that happened. I loved the protectiveness that Bane displayed toward Buffy and how he avenged any who wronged her. I also thought for being a quick read that the world building was done well and I liked the demon lore and found it very interesting. This book has dark themes and lots of triggers, but is definitely worth the read if you can handle it!

I was hooked from the very first page! The emotions that Erica and Brian went through with TTC were so relatable. I loved reading from both POV and seeing their growth together and apart. There was no shortage of spice and I thought using love languages and kink exploration was a great way to bring the couple back together!

I would highly recommend this book for anyone who loves a second chance trope and a "good boy" sub and dom FMC (since I don't think this is super common!).

Laugh out loud funny as usual. Good twist at the end on Stephanie’s stalker!
