One of my favorites. It was still amazing on the re-read. Second chance sports romance where the characters actually have a healthy relationship and communication style.

I didn’t expect to cry this hard. This was a beautiful story about living life to the fullest because nothing is guaranteed. In typical Abby Jimenez fashion, this was funny, sweet, and super emotional. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into when I started this book but I’m glad I read it.

I am the type of person who needs to know if a story has a happy ending or not before I read it, so *SPOILER* for that. It thankfully has one and thank god because I was about to throw the book.

3-3.5. It was cute and has Bridgerton vibes. A quick, light read.

3-3.5. Beginning was a little slow but overall I read it quickly and was invested.

A feminist and a rogue. Childhood enemies, to adult enemies, to lovers. Loved it at parts but also was annoyed at other parts. I wish there was a little more relationship development but it picked up in the second half.

I feel like booktok has been doing me dirty with these recommendations.

Did I finish this book? Yes. Was it hard to put down? Yes. Was it good? No. Would I recommend it to other people? No. Would I read it again? No.

This book just had a lottttt going on. Like 12 different plot points that in themselves could have been individual main plots for several different books. That’s why i didn’t DNF because there was a bunch of outlandish stuff going on constantly. This read like a bad Wattpad story but I give the author credit because it was creative.

If you’re looking for outlandish plots that move so fast you don’t have time to get emotionally invested in what just happened then this book is for you.

Yeah it was technically on the spicy side if you’re looking for that. But more in a dirty talk/aggressive sex/degrading kind of way, not in a descriptive adult scenes kind of way. I personally do not enjoy reading intimate scenes where the guy degrades the girl, but some people are into that so I’m not letting that aspect effect my rating.

It gets 2 stars for just being ridiculous and keeping me invested enough until the end.

4.75. In typical Emily Henry fashion, the banter was amazing and the book was very funny. Loved the different approach to “small town romance”. I just wish it had a little more romantic moments but I still loved it. My least fav of her books but still great.
