3.5. More addiction focused than romance focused. Which makes sense for the plot but was also a big downer that just wasn’t the vibe I was going for right now. Go into this being prepared for like deep conversations. Very well written though and Lo and Lily are like the definition of soulmates.
3.5. This book is long. Like honestly too long and it took me forever to finish it because it felt like a lot of fluff. However, the parts that were good, were really good. This series is heavyyy to read. I feel like it really dives into how much parents can mess up their kids, how people find their vices and ways to cope with whatever issues they have. Lily and Lo seriously are so good for each other. But man I need to read some happy romcoms to pallet cleanse after that.
It was ok. It was a decently paced book and I wasn’t bored. However, the “villain” was super obvious from the start and it was overall predictable. Also, not at all what I was expecting. Probably wouldn’t recommend but I didn’t hate it.
4.5. This was the toxic mafia romance that I needed. Enemies to lovers, arraigned marriage, hella drama. Best type of book to binge read in a day. I wish the ending wasn’t as rushed but I still loved it.
This was good but I wish there was more character development between the characters. I wasn’t really invested in any of the relationships aside from Elijah and his dead wife. That was the only relationship that actually had me feeling any emotion. The idea is soo cool and I feel like this has a lot of potential. The author just needs to give more character interaction. Especially between signa and death. Like I felt no connection to them. For a debut novel, it’s decent. But definitely didn’t give what I needed it to.

This was just an all around super sweet romance. Autism and anxiety representation is great. Jamie is the definition of a cinnamon roll love interest. Bea is super quirky and fun. There is like hardly any conflict, great communication between the main couple, and the 3rd act breakup was super short and non toxic. It was overall just cute and sweet. It was a little bit of a slower read because there wasn’t really any drama, but still a good book.
These are seriously my favorite romcom series. I would have read this in a day if I wasn’t so busy. I haven’t been this into a book in a long time. I will recommend this series to everyone, forever.
This had the potential to be the best book of this series. It was 130 pages but felt less insta love than the other books in the series that aren’t even novellas. I wish this was a full book and not a novella because I was so invested. Naturally since it was so short, the end felt suuuuper rushed. But I still enjoyed it.
4 stars. Connor is a top tier MC and I love him and rose together. Lily and lo are still so perfect for each other. I deducting 1 star for the amount of stress this book put me through, for the twist at the end that I will forever be angry about, and for how much everyone sexualizing Daisy and kept saying “age is just a number”. Absolutely not.
3.5. I would have rated it higher but i just could not get passed the age thing, it was just too weird. 18 might be legal consenting age, but it’s still too weird to read about someone that young in these situations. The author should have aged her up to make it not weird. And I feel like it romanticizes the idea of an barely legal girl and a guy in his mid to late 20’s and that’s not ok. If I ignore that part, it was nice to get insight into Daisy and Ryke as characters. It’s nice to know that ryke is with her for the right reasons and he isn’t a scumbag. I also loved that Daisy finally stood up for herself.
I hate their mom with a burning passion. All their parents really are just god awful people. I’ll keep reading the series but my god, authors need to stop with making all their female characters barely legal. It’s so weird. Please let their brains be at least close to fully developed.
