Amazing. Absolutely adored this book. It had a very Life is Strange feeling and it was everything I was craving. Even made me cry a couple of times
Everything Leads to You by Nina LaCour

Absolutely beautiful story. I'm usually not into slice of life books and I'm not going to lie it took me a while to get into this story. But the way LaCour writes, she can easily wrap me up into her stories. I first started this story not really liking Emi and that's probably why it took me so long to finally get into this story. She seemed too pretentious and I found myself rolling my eyes at her often. However as I kept going I fell in love with her and I fell in love with her story and her journey. That's just how amazing LaCour's writing is. She gets you so wrapped up in the lives of these characters and you easily feel for them and you're fully immersed into knowing everything about them. Easily one of my favorite stories.
We Set the Dark on Fire by Tehlor Kay Mejia

I absolutely devoured this book! The way Tehlor writes, I could feel Dani's emotions, her anger, her fear, her yearning. If you're looking for a good story about rebellion and love between two women who go from enemies to lovers, I definitely recommend picking this one up. I can't wait to get my hands on the sequel.
Sword in the Stars by A.R. Capetta, Cory McCarthy

It's hard to find a sequel you enjoy as much as the first, Sword in the Stars managed to be just as enjoyable (though it's always hard to top the first). I definitely enjoyed the constant twisting tale, despite how much time travel gives me a headache. It helps when you're extremely invested with the characters. My only complaint was that there still should have been more Jordan and I almost stopped reading when you know what happened. But I was glad that I pressed on anyways. SitS was a pretty good sequel and finale.

Reread this book for the first time in years and man does it STILL hold up! Percy Jackson will always be a superior series to everything I read as a kid.
The Deep by Rivers Solomon

Definitely a good quick read. An interesting way of interpreting intergenerational trauma that those who are not BIPOC may not fully understand. The book was truly captivating.

Absolutely adored this graphic novel. I've been searching for some good gay/wlw werewolf stories (yes I know Tam is enby). This hit the niche perfectly. The story was great and the art style was perfect. Love to see a sequel of the two's adventures after the first book. Even if it's just a few short stories.
Beneath the Citadel by Destiny Soria

A bi boy, a chubby ace girl with anxiety, a soft, yearning gay boy, and stubborn latina lead and throw them into a high steaks heist? Absolutely.
I hate to admit how long it took me to read this book. It took me a good few months to and it wasn't because I wasn't into the story. I absolutely adored the book and the end even brought me to tears. I adored every character and found myself extremely attached to Alys. I'm definitely not as logical as her, but as someone with a panic disorder, I really understand her. I think that's why it took me so long to get through the story.
But even anxiety couldn't completely keep me away from this story.
I know a few people said they jumping POVs made it annoying for them, but since it had been established since the beginning, I actually didn't mind. I loved having the chance to see each characters thoughts and process their emotions.
