I think this might be my favorite in the series so far. Live Laugh Love Cassie Hobbs.
“Too young to party, just old enough to participate in federal investigations of serial murder. Story of my life.”

Leo is the best Christina Lauren book boyfriend to date and this is my favorite of their books so far. The adventure was good, still with the miscommunication trope but I didn’t mind it this time around. The adventure and imagery set this book apart from the others. Some of the codes and math went over my head but this was a fun, exciting and beautiful read.
“He'd loved Lily so deeply that it changed his biology. Standing here now, it seemed his love for her hadn't gone away, it had just been vacuum-sealed and stored. Back in her presence, the physical memory of his infatuation was released in a deluge, gasping to life, and adrenaline flooded his bloodstream.”
“He wondered if, looking down, the stars ever felt like falling, lovesick, onto the planets. The instinct was in him when he was over her, moving, unable to believe that she was real and her quiet sounds were real and the way she looked up at him was real. Just fall. It's okay. She had to see the truth tattooed in his eyes and scrawled across every feature: that he had always loved her, was loving her still. Leo would love Lily Wilder forever.”

Okay what?? The last reveal, I hate that lady. Anyways I loved the friendship between Mateo, ivy and Cal but I wished we got more time with them Mateo and Ivy as a couple like Bronwyn and Nate from OOUIS —- which was why I I totally read this. I overall enjoyed it and finished it in 4 hours. I wish Lara got sent to hell but what can you do.

I loved this so much!!! So much better than the show. NATEWYN FOREVER💌💌💌
I stand and hold out my hand. She gives me a skeptical look, but takes it and lets me pull her to her feet. I put my other hand in the air. 'Bronwyn Rojas, I solemnly swear not to murder you today or at any point in the future. Deal?'
'You're ridiculous,' she mutters, going even redder.
'It concerns me you're avoiding a promise not to murder me.”
"Plus, I can't go more than a few minutes without wanting to kiss you, so - there's that."
"You're doing better than me. I never stop thinking about kissing you.”
“I guess we're almost friends now, or as friendly as you can get when you're not one hundred percent sure the other person isn't framing you for murder.”

The first chapter really put me off. The writing seemed good but I loved Slewfoot so much…. this was just not my thing
