WOW. This book was an incredible read. I was hooked on the story and I could not put it down. It perfectly created a blend between the supernatural drama with romance.
The story focuses on Ox, a young boy living in the small town of Green Creek, who feels like an outsider in his own life until he encounters the enigmatic Wolfsong family. From that moment, Ox's life takes an extraordinary turn as he discovers a world he never knew existed - a world of werewolves and ancient prophecies.
Klune's writing is provocative and really encapsulates the deep emotions and experiences of the characters for the readers. They built the intimacy in a way that seamlessly combines the werewolf tropes with pure unadulterated love.
Overall, it's a breathtaking book that encapsulates so many forms of love and kinship in a beautifully written way.

The writing, story and characters were great but the actual book was just so slow because of how long each chapter was so I couldn't fully enjoy it but I'd definitely recommend if it interests you
Where do I even begin? This book was really hard to read and i ended up having to skim it after about 6 chapters in because of how painful it was to read. I'm going to split my review into two parts: the main story and the sex scenes
So the main story was just... non-existent basically. The characters had no personality or depth (especially the side characters who I literally couldn't tell you a single thing about). I couldn't buy the idea that Sam and Declan confess their love to each other because what is there to love??? NOTHING, they have no personality they are just shells of humans.
The writing was very meh and I got so sick of Declan's dialogue because of the Scottish accent being written, like yes i get it he is Scottish it was the first thing announced to us and it kept getting brought up we do not need to read the accent I PROMISE. Also I could not keep track of the POV like it was all 3rd person but sometimes it was from Sam then Declan then just narrator without any rhyme or reason and it literally switched within chapters.
Now to the sex. This has got to be some of the worst sex scenes I've read in a book, it really read like a 13 year old girl writing gay smut of two band members on wattpad for the first time. I think one of the worst moments was their first time and Sam starts eating out Declan without any cleaning or protection like you just know that his ass was unwashed because he obviously wasn't planning for some guy to tongue fuck him. And on the topic of bad wattpad writing there was a scene of some of the worst "kink" I've seen, it was just sprung from nowhere and would be quite unsafe to just do as they did it. It was also just not really kink, they were using a shoelace as a makeshift cock ring which is a pretty average sex toy to just be used alone.
Also there was moments that were incredibly biphobic, sexist or otherwise just icky to read as a gay man myself, like Sam being so high and mighty about being a "pure 100% gay man who likes DICK AND ASS NO ICKY DISGUSTING WOMEN" and being such a prat about Declan being "straight" and sticking his dick in women with the implication that it was disgusting. It's really not hard to write a character that is gay dating a bisexual without just shaming everyone in the process.
I just really was not a fan of this book in any shape or form, I would definitely not recommend because there's just so many better queer erotica and romance books out there.

it was just so fucking BORING, nothing was happening and the writing was bland as hell
Loved seeing the return of Rodrick (my one true love) and Löded Diper, read it in one go and it was quite entertaining. Some of the references to internet culture felt a little outdated but I still enjoyed this new age Diary of a Wimpy Kid
