The writing was simple in a good way, the characters were well written and the story was good. But there was too many mentions of Covid in the first about third of the book. Also I'm very happy that
Reese and Heath got together because I literally love them so much

my god was this book beautiful, I already loved TBDATD and this one somehow topped it. Valentino and Orion were just amazing characters and everything just worked. It definitely felt like a prequel but it does manage to stand on its own still.

It was just painfully slow and boring like there was just nothing enjoyable about it

I found myself stuck on what to rate this as because on one hand, it was really well written, I enjoyed the story and the characters and I wanted to love it so much. I don't know if it was just when I decided to read it but it took me so long to get through because it was just so slow and only found myself engaged through about half the book at different points. There was times when I wanted to dnf it and I stopped reading it for months then finally picked it back up. It's a chillingly beautiful book and I think I'll try and read it again when I'm able to dedicate more energy into it.

god it was just so beautifully written, especially in the final moments of Mateo and Rufus. just amazing i loved it

there's just always so much stuff happening and i was so confused throughout but i still love the scenes with just Luc and Oliver and also the ones without Luc's close friends cuz they are much more palletable

im also in love with Jojo and he needs his own book

also Luc and Oliver deciding not to get married was one of the best ideas they've ever had

For the most part I loved this book, some parts i was not feeling it but it never lasted too long.
(and i totally dont have a bias because of my love for queer australian ballerina media)

OH MY GOD THIS BOOK WAS FUCKING AMAZING I LOVED IT SO MUCH!
Dev and Charlie are absolutely perfect together, all the subtle nuances in their interactions were so cute. I loved the concept so much and it was so well done. And the ending, omg the ending, it was just so good. The perfect little romance story that just melting my heart.

Josie has an average life, a normal job, mildly successful love life, a close best friend
and an alive brother.
But in an alternate universe, another Josie has her dream job, dream husband, overall dream life.
After a biking accident the two Josies switch lives, freaky friday-esque, and each woman has to settle into their new lives with their past memories.

I personally enjoyed the book, especially during the middle chapters when the plot wasn't dragging on and everything had purpose. It was a bit of a slow start but it had a solid build up with nice ending.

The characters were alright, the original Josie was much more likeable than the other Josie, who often sounded pretentious and whiny. Some of the characters annoyed me (looking at Rob) while the majority of side characters just weren't explored enough for me to have an opinion.

I did like the distinction between the two Josies by having them alternate 1st and 3rd person, it allowed each character to shine in their own chapters. The rest of the writing was well done, nothing phenomenal but it wasn't bad by any means.

I would definitely recommend this book if you like the plot synopsis or just generally a contemporary romance fan.
