Oh. My. God. This was incredible. I read the Caraval trilogy by Garber and the first book was the best and it felt as they went downhill from there, so I was skeptical about this sequel. I don’t know whether I’ll recover. This was so good.

I thought this was a cute sequel to What If It’s Us and I preferred the epilogue in this one compared to the first one.

I preferred this way way way over Caraval by Garber. With that series, I felt her writing wasn’t as strong (excluding the first one). I had nervously high hopes and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. The wait for my copy of The Ballad of Never After is going to be torture. Also, bonus points for everything about this book feeling aesthetic. From the cover to the Magnificent North, I literally felt so main character core.
