A beautiful story on the importance of nature, animals, the world around us, and human nature.

My first Brené Brown book and I will definitely be reading more. My only qualm was the religious aspect of the book but that did not detract overall. It had some great messages that I highlighted and will be returning to later.

Decent read but got frustrated by the alternative viewpoints told. A couple times the author clearly got confused and wrote in third person when she meant to write in first or vice versa.

I was so very frustrated with this whole book. Alex was a complete jerk when it came to her boyfriend (being embarrassed of him, cheating etc) and to her parents as well. She was so unlikeable that despite her attempts to make things better in the end I couldn’t forgive her.
